RestoraLAX® works to gently relieve constipation.
RestoraLAX® laxative comes in five dosage sizes to suit your needs. RestoraLAX® has a convenient single 17g dose measuring cap.
RestoraLAX® works with the water in your body for effective relief from occasional constipation without causing harsh side effects such as gas, bloating, cramping or sudden urgency. It dissolves easily in eight ounces of water, fruit juice or any other beverage (hot or cold).
Most people will experience a bowel movement in as early as 24 hours and up to 72 hours.
Suggested Use
The bottle top is a measuring cap. Fill the measuring cap to the top of white section which is marked to indicate the correct dose (17g)
Children 18 years of age or under: ask a doctor. Do not use more than
7 days, unless recommended by a doctor

Caution
- if you are allergic to polyethylene glycol
- if you have known or suspected bowel obstruction
- if you have kidney disease, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- have symptoms suggestive of bowel obstruction, appendicitis or inflamed bowel (fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or bloating)
- any medical conditions
- are pregnant or nursing or "thinking about becoming pregnant
- are taking starch-based food thickeners for a swallowing problem. RestoraLAX may reduce the thickening effect of these products, which increases the risk of choking.
When using this product, you may have loose, watery, more frequent stools, nausea, abdominal bloating, cramping or flatulence, diarrhea and excessive stool frequency might occur. If severe, stop use and contact a doctor.
Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine as the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced. Overuse or extended use of any laxative may cause dependence for bowel
function
Stop use and ask a doctor if you have:
- rectal bleeding
- your bloating, cramping, nausea or abdominal pain gets worse
- you get diarrhea, especially if you are elderly
- your condition persists or worsens
- you develop an allergic reaction (e.g. rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, stop using this medication, drink
water, and call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
