HMB stands for B-Hydroxy B-Methylbutyrate Monohydrate. HMB is a metabolite of the branch chain amino acid “L-Leucine.” The B.C.A.A’s are some of the most important amino acids for building muscle tissue. HMB is anti-catabolic (prevents muscle breakdown).
