Description
Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve symptoms of colds and flus, such as coughs, sore throat and mucus buildup (catarrh) of the (upper) respiratory tract. Elderberry Sambucus nigra is a small shrub native to Europe. The fruit is a sweet, juicy, dark purple berry which has commonly been used in teas, wines and jellies. Our formula includes both the berry and the flower. Elderberry’s benefits may be due to its powerful naturally occurring antioxidants including flavonoids and phenolic compounds. Elderberry may help support general wellbeing, especially during the cold months. Suggested Use
