As a source of antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. Milk Thistle is traditionally used in herbal medicine as a hepatoprotectant.

For adult use only. Do not use if you have a bile duct obstruction or are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Do not use if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have gallstones, kidney stones, an iron deficiency, liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite, or if symptoms persist or worsen. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient.
