C·Matrix contains a combination of buffered vitamin C and bioflavonoids that provide well-absorbed and well-balanced antioxidant support. By binding ascorbic acid with minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium, C-Matrix offers a product that is pH-neutral and, therefore, quite gentle on the digestive tract. The addition of various bioflavonoids allows for better utilization of vitamin C within the body.

Bioflavonoids are plant compounds found in citrus fruits, apples, tea and many other foods, with health-promoting properties. Research has shown that they have potent anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy, anti-bacterial, anti-thrombotic and anti-oxidant abilities, capable of inhibiting LDL cholesterol oxidation. When combined with vitamin C, their health-promoting capacities are even greater.

Bioflavonoids, including rutin, work synergistically with vitamin C to improve the integrity of blood vessels, capillaries and the cardiovascular system as a whole. Specifically, bioflavonoids inhibit the oxidation of vitamin C, thereby having a sparing effect on the crucial nutrient.
