Description

A safe and effective acne care routine includes products to help you look and feel your best. Benzagel® Acne Wash is the skin preparation product formulated for acne-prone users with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. It’s also micronized to penetrate your skin and eliminate the bacteria that causes acne inflammation.

Benzagel® Acne Wash is designed to work with our Acne Gel 5% as part of your daily skincare routine to fight acne flare-ups. Our combination of products is easy to use, effective, and pharmacist recommended and has been trusted by Canadians as part of an acne treatment plan for more than 45 years.

Suggested Use

Adults and adolescents 12 years and older. Shake well before use. Wash face twice daily with Benzagel Acne Wash and warm water using a gentle rubbing action. Rinse off after 20 to 30 seconds. Dry with a clean towel. For new users: Apply product to a small area with a thin layer. Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily, if needed. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Non-medical Ingredients: Cetyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate, Propylene Glycol, Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Citrate, Water.

Caution

For external use only.

Allergy alert: Get medical help right away if you develop hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficulty breathing. Do not use on sensitive skin. If you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe acne. When using this product: Skin irritation and dryness are more likely to occur when using another topical acne product at the same time. If irritation occurs, use only one product at a time. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, mouth and nostrils. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid contact with hair and dyed fabrics, which may be bleached by this product. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. Stop use and ask a doctor/health care practitioner if you develop severe irritation, burning or itching of the skin, or if improvement is not apparent within 6-8 weeks.

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call poison control centre or get medical help right away.
